奈良出身の3ピース・ロックバンド。 ヴォーカル／ベースの五味岳久とギターと五味拓人の五味兄弟を中心に2001年に結成。
2004年7月にUK PROJECT内に自身で立ち上げたレーベルqoop music（クープミュージック）よりデビューミニアルバム「P.S.I miss you」をリリース。
アルバム楽曲のクオリティの高さと日本人離れしたスケールの大きさに各方面から大絶賛を受ける。
2006年1月に満を持しての1st Album「PLAY WITH ISOLATION」がリリースされる。

8otto (the "8" is not pronounced) is a four-member rock band hailing from Osaka, Japan. Originally formed by drummer/vocalist Maenosono Masaki and guitarist Ryo in 1999 as Sugar For A Dime, the band adopted their current name in 2004, and released their first album we do viberation in 2006. To date, all of their studio albums have been produced by Yoshioka Toshikazu (a.k.a. BohQun) who has also written many of their songs.

パスピエ
パスピエ (Passepied) is a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2009 by Tokyo University of the Arts graduate Haneda Narita. Their sound can be described as minimal melancholy pop tunes with jazz undertones and high-pitched vocals, electronic mix. They brand themselves as a band with "21st Century Style Super High Performance Personal Computer Destruction Music". Their November 2011 work “Watashi Kaika Shitawa” became a long-seller. They joined Warner Music Japan in 2012.

LOSTAGE
Around 2001, two brothers named Gomi Takahisa (vocal /bassist) & Gomi Takuto (guitar) recruited guitarist Shimizu Masaya, who was in another band at the time, and drummer Tanaka Tomokazu into their band; so was the birth of lostage. A rhythm section that repeats itself through the noisy feedback. Vocals that vibrate with a hysteric feel lyrically entwining within the deafening sound. And at the end of it all, distortion guitars that paint a beautiful landscape.... It's been a while for a band to appear that can give such an overwhelming view of the world through their sound.

1996年、中学の同級生だった谷川正憲(Vo./G.)、
谷浩彰(B./Cho.)、吉田昇吾(Dr.)の3人で結成され、
後に1年後輩の佐藤将文(G./Cho.)が加入し現在の編成となる。 ロック・パンク・メロコアを軸に、ジャズ・フュージョン・ソウル・ファンク等のブラック・ミュージックのエッセンスを絶妙にブレンドしたグルーヴィーなミクスチャー・ロックを鳴らす。 2005年インディーズ・デビュー。
『the space of the sense』、『THE MUSIC HUMANIZED IS HERE』の2枚のミニ・アルバムをリリース。 2007年ミニ・アルバム『departure』でメジャー・デビュー。
同年ミニ・アルバム『rejoice』リリース。 2008年ファースト・フル・アルバム『rapture』リリース。
全編英詞によるグルーヴ・ロックの一つの完成形とも言うべき傑作を作り出し、各方面から大絶賛される。 2008年秋からバンド史上初の日本語詞によるシングル3部作リリース。 2009年セカンド・フル・アルバム『Music is the key』リリース。英語詞／日本語詞の楽曲を織り交ぜ、さらに幅の広がった音楽性はバンドの新たなフェイズへの突入を告げていた。

DJが誰かの人生を大きく変えることはこれまでに何度もあった。そしてこれからもあり続けるだろう。しかしティーンエイジャーのジェイムス・ブレイクが2007年に初めてロンドンのクラブ"FWD>>"（フォワード）へ行ったその時の衝撃は正に強烈で、彼の人生を変えるものになったことは間違いない。 地下にあるPlastic Peopleの真っ暗なブースでDJがグライムやガラージをかけると、ジェイムスはすぐにそのサウンドを好きになった。いやむしろ虜になったと言っていいだろう。それは聴いたことのなかったサウンド。学校の友人とドラムンベースのクラブイベントへは行ったことがあったが、そこでかかっていた音はまた全然違うもので、その場の雰囲気も初めて経験するものだった。それこそ彼が待ち望んでいたもの。ただ本人がそれを求めていたことに気付いていなかっただけ。「ここまで自分の頭の奥深いところまで導いてくれるものは初めてだってその時思ったよ」と彼は言う。「そこはものすごく暗くて、音もものすごく大きいクラブだった。」

1. A 24-year-old female guitarist & singer-songwriter Miwako Shimizu named her solo project “Predawn” in 2008. The band name Predawn has taken from Mimei Ogawa(1882-1961), who is called as father of Japanese children's literature. Not only at some venues in Tokyo, but she has performed at many festivals in Japan including Fuji Rock Festival and apbank fes in 2009 and 2010, only with her tiny guitar.

UNCHAIN was formed in Kyoto in 1996. Later, they moved into Osaka and began playing live gigs there. They progressed musically and put out demo songs on compilation CDs and started to work on their mini album, with their guitarist now not just a support member. He joined the band for the production of the mini album "The Space of the Sense" which was released on June 8, 2005. They have released several mini-albums and three full-length albums since then.
